With steel like strength, high hardness and an ultra fine grain size, Technox® Zirconias are finding an increasing number of applications as blade edges and cutting tools. From 300µm thick razor blades for film and tape cutting to 300mm diameter circular slitters for the paper industry. Technox® blades display lifetimes up to 1000 times greater than conventional materials.

With an ultrafine microstructure Technox® materials provide an excellent answer to the most demanding of cutting applications.
